Youth Services Middle School/Teen Program (MST): The Middle School/Teen Program provides services for teens in grades 6 to 12. Teen centers are open weekdays, 2 to 8 p.m. and weekends, 2 to 10 p.m. The program offers a wide range of positive options that promote healthy youth development and ease transition to adulthood with activities in live skills, citizenship, leadership, sports, fitness, academic support, mentoring, arts and recreation.
The EDGE! program offers out-of-school opportunities for children and youth to Excel, Develop, Grow and Experience by participating in cutting-edge art, fitness, life skills and adventure activities known as Art EDGE!, Fit EDGE!, Life EDGE! and Adventure EDGE! The EDGE! program is open to first-12th graders. Register weekly for your EDGE! programs. Cost is $30 per week for first-fifth graders and free for sixth to 12th graders.
The HIRED! Apprenticeship Program provides 15 to 18 year old youth with meaningful, professionally-managed career exploration opportunities in Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation operations. The HIRED! Apprenticeship Program offers valuable paid work experience and training to better equip each participant with the skills needed for a highly competitive job market.
The SKIES (Schools of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration and Skills) Unlimited Program encompasses instructional programs and classes designed to complement and support the experiences of military children. The goal of the SKIES Unlimited Program is to ensure predictability and consistency in the availability, affordability and quality of instructional classes offered. The programs are designed for the students to expand their knowledge, be inspired, explore and acquire skills. SKIES Unlimited offers such programs as theatre, music, dance, martial arts and more.
Youth Sports Program: CYSS, Sport & Fitness programs offer a wide range of health, fitness, life skills (outreach) and sports activities to children and youth ages 5 to 17.
The Sports & Fitness programs encompass a variety of (age-appropriate) safe and supervised activities that include basketball, flag football, baseball, soccer, cheerleading, softball, wrestling, track and field, field trips and events, such as PT in the Park/Gym. Mini sports (ages 3 to 5) include basketball, soccer, flag football and baseball. Practices are conducted Tuesday through Friday with games on Saturday.

Schofield Sharks Swim Club: Open to children 5 to 17 years old, the Sharks Swim Club program has tryouts Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m., at Richardson Pool. Monthly fees are $40 per child. All children must be registered through Child, Youth and School Services prior to joining the team. A yearly USA-Hawaiian (insurance) swimming fee will be assessed at time of registration.
